Remembrance Parade
10th November 2019, 9:30 - 11:15
As you may be aware each year our young members attend Remembrance Parade to show their respect for those that have fallen for our freedom in conflicts around the world. All members are expected to attend this parade. Those who cannot attend should let their section leader know via email along with an acceptable reason. This year’s Remembrance Parade will take place on Sunday 10th November.
Meet: Upper Mill (just off Tonbridge Road, nearly opposite the church)
At: 9.30am (prompt, we can't delay the parade)
Wear: FULL UNIFORM, a Poppy and the joint Royal British Legion/Scout badge if you have one. If it's cold, wear another layer or two underneath your uniform (no coats unless it's torrential rain). Girls may wear a navy or grey skirt and white socks.
Details of your child's full uniform can be found here : https://www.wateringbury-scouts.org.uk/spage-useful_stuff-buying_uniform.html
Bring: A coin for the collection
Collect: 11.15am from outside St John the Baptist Church, Wateringbury (please inform a Leader before taking your child home - thank you). However, if you wish to attend the service you are, of course, very welcome to.
SCOUT SECTION ONLY : Will walk back to the hut after and can be collected from there.
