Winter Camp!
Well.... I'm back home, the washings nearly done and the smell of camp fire smoke is slowly washing out my hair!
It was an awesome weekend at Belchamps with the Scouts, Explorers and a whole bunch of new Leaders (Kirsten, Joe, Sam & George!) With it being their first camp as full adult leaders with Wateringbury, they proved to be amazing, getting the tents up, organising the scouts, drying boots, cooking and even eating the biscuits! :-)
It's now Monday morning, I'm on the train to London reflecting on how muddy, wet and cold it was, but with friends, Explorers and Scouts like we have in Wateringbury... I'd do it all again this weekend! (After my boots have dried out!) :-)
Massive thanks to Simon, John, Nicola, Dave, Kirsten, Joe, George and Doug for making it another amazing camp!
And to Paul from Belchamps, who ferried our kit through the mud to our site and brought us logs for the cooking... Top bloke and always ready to help!
Here's a few pics from the weekend...
