Cubs Summer Camp
26th July 2025

Our Cubs took to the seaside for their Summer Camp at Dymchurch, where they enjoyed everything a trip to the coast has to offer. They made their own kites to fly on the beach, worked as teams in Tug of War, competed to build the best sandcastles and of course enjoyed some local fish and chips.
But the fun doesn't stop there as the Cubs visited the world famous Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway! The cub's favourite engines, Samson, took them all the way to the end of the line at Dungeness, where they took in the extraordinary views from the top of the old lighthouse. On the trip back they stopped at the model railway in New Romney before taking the final trip back to Dymchurch.
After paddling in the sea, cooking their own burritos and enjoying the outdoor cinema, the Cubs went home with many happy memories, and presumably plenty of sand too!
